Privacy Policy for Mobile Apps

This privacy policy informs you about how IQ WORLDGAMES AG collects, processes, and protects personal data in connection with the use of its mobile applications. The basis is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA), and the guidelines of the app store platforms.

3. Purposes of Data Processing

The app is provided for digital entertainment. Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Operation, maintenance, and improvement of the app

  • Provision of game content

  • In-app purchases and subscriptions

  • Access to location or camera (only with consent)

  • Sending push notifications (only with consent)

  • Error diagnosis and abuse prevention

 

4. Which Data is Processed?

The following data may be collected, among others:

  • IP address, pseudonymized

  • Device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, Android ID)

  • Language, region, app version, operating system

  • Usage statistics and gaming behavior (e.g., playing time, purchases)

  • Location data or camera access (only with consent)

  • Push notification tokens (only with consent for delivery of game events, optional reminders or information about special promotions; storage is pseudonymized)

  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (Contract fulfillment)

  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (Legitimate interest in security, optimization, service)


6. App Store Note

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. IQ WORLDGAMES AG has no influence on the processing of personal data by these platforms. Their own privacy policies apply.


7. Age Restriction

The app is intended exclusively for adults (18 years and older). Use by minors is not permitted.


8. Third Parties and Data Sharing

The app may use third parties for the following purposes:

  • Analysis and statistics (e.g., Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, only with consent)

  • Cloud hosting (server locations within the EU)

  • Payment processing via Apple/Google

Data transmission to third countries only occurs if adequate guarantees are provided in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

 

9. Duration of Data Storage

Personal data will only be stored as long as this is necessary to achieve the purpose or legal retention obligations exist. Consent can be revoked at any time. The revocation can be done via the app's device settings or by contacting the data protection contact.
